Off track

It has been a while since they have been off track but my mind is still crazy from it. It is really fun to be with them all day but it is really great to be with out them too. I tried keeping them busy and entertained. Notice those are two separate activities. Chores are considered busy, entertained is going to a park. SO I keep them busy more than entertained, but I would say entertained is easier than busy. Okay so we went to the Anne frank exhibit, swimming lessons, water wise plant place, church museum. And Dentist, doctors. And probably more places but I am writing them too late after going so I can't remember. During all of this I have cub scouts, soccer practices, piano lessons and PTA stuff. Sorry about all the play on words but that how my mind is played to the extreme.

G.J.

While the kids were off track we finally made it to my mom's house in G.J. The kids got to be splint up so they even had a better time. My mom came to see the kids last basketball games and then took Brittin and Brecken home with them. Then I came down on Tuesday after sports camp with Logan and Kolbryn and spent the night then had fun around the house and then went to a dinosaur museum, that day at the museum they had the smallest dinosaur exhibit open, in Fruita, Co. Then I took Brittin and Brecken home and Logan and Kolbryn got to stay. They learned black jack and went bowling. ON the way back to S.L. They had a big lunch in town and then got back on the road. Well Kolbryn thought he was still hungry and wanted to eat somemore in the car, my mom said that they just ate you can't be hungry. SO he started to cry and she thought that was weird and then she saw him holding his stomach and realized he was going to throw up. Well they had a take home container with food in it and there is where he lost his lunch. So they had to clean out the car, carseat and Kolbryn in a gas station. Sorry mom. Just the other day I was making dinner and Kolbryn came over and said yuck, that looks think my throw up, so that was very nice thought to have while eating. Yes I am one of those mothers that lines her kids up like ducks in a row. Also I like blinding them, I think we are vampires, good think vampires are in this season. The light just kills them. Another thing they got from their dad, he is the worst to get a picture of either he is making a face or the flash makes him make a face.

Before shots

Kolbryn had his birthday party just a couple weeks ago, he went to Hollywood connection and played laser tag with his friends and cousins, papa and nana, and uncles. It was a lot of fun. It was the first time any of our kids had done laser tag and they loved it. Since we had so many kids it didn't cost so much per game. So we can go back because everyone liked it. Here is also a look of what the kid's hair usually look like, I don't know what we are going to do with Kolbryn and his mohawk.

HOw many think Brittin's hair came home this way?

It's offical- I have crazy kids, at least their hair is

Today is crazy hair day. It has been crazy sock, crazy hat and now crazy hair. Tomorrow is crazy shoes. Logan didn't want to do any of it but the hair part, because he is in 5th grade and what 5th grader does that. But today was too much for him to pass up. Kolbryn begged James to give him a mohawk and while I was at scouts he did. Then Brittin's idea was to take a shower at night and go to bed with wet hair and then her hair would be crazy, but we didn't have time after scouts to shower her. But when she saw Kolbryn's hair she wanted a mohawk too, so I said I could do it. Brecken had to join in the craze too. He started swimming lessons and I didn't know if they would let him in the pool with it in his hair, but he wanted it. While doing their hair this morning I asked why do you guys put so much thought into crazy hair ideas and time sitting still and looking crazy but not that much time in doing book reports or finishing homework. Which their reply was a blank stare of mom why would you ask such a question. So now I know my children can get to school on time, be dressed and have breakfast eaten and out the door, backpacks, sock, shoes on with out me hurrying them along. What an eye opening day crazy hair day was.

New years 2010

We are a boring family, most days and exceptionally on Holidays. We went to a show with nana and papa and cousins, that wasn't boring but then we drove around to this house by the temple that we pass every soccer practice that has tons of lights and never stop so I said we should give that a good look, when we went right in front of the house it had a sign that said to turn your radio to a station and the lights would go to the music, so we turned it to the station and all it was was static with a few burst of music, which my kids thought were burps and gas passing and they laughed and laughed . THen we came home and let the kids watch a show till midnight, Brecken was jumping up and down saying I get to stay up, I get to stay up, I didn't even know he knew what staying up meant but he did, he is so smart. Kolbryn asked if he could go to sleep and have us wake him up and I said I would, so we turned the channel to the big ball drop and started counting down and I ran and got all the kids pots and spoons to make noise with then I remembered to wake up Kolbryn, I remembered one year my mom said she would wake me up and didn't I was mad for a week, so I woke him up and he wouldn't wake up, he was crying and walking around with his eyes closed, that is what the picture is of. We looked out our back door and saw all the lights from down town and the whole valley, I love my view, it was fun and then in one min. of making noise and scream I sent the kids to bed and they went. James and I stayed up and watch a show and then we had just gotten some new cable channels I watch some more shows and finally went to bed at 6 and got up at 8 with the kids. And then went Shopping to look for deals while James stayed home with the kids.

Christmas 2009

Christmas came and went, in a blink of an eye. We went to Temple square and saw the lights, Brittin had gone to the Nutcracker with James during the day and had stayed up all night waiting for her date and then woke up early to go to work with James that by the time we made it to Temple square she was in one of her moods and there was no getting out of it. So that is what is happening in the picture, documentation for Brittin's husband, we want to make sure we warn him.:) ON Christmas day We had a great time, it was just the putting away which wasn't such a great time. I didn't know where to put all the new stuff or should I say the new toys, we didn't get anything just the kids. The kids got everything they wanted, with a few exceptions, Brittin asked santa for an American girl doll and she ended up with 2 small american girl dolls, because santa saw her acting bad a couple of times and she couldn't get the exact thing she wanted. Kolbryn just kept opening presents and not even looked at what he got, when we packed up to leave, I had each kids things in a box and he said, I didn't get this and I said yes you did I saw you open it, so he had Christmas twice in one day. The only thing he remembered that he got was autobots and he said he hated it them. Logan just had a sad look on his face the whole morning until he opened his starwar legos and then that is all he did the rest of the morning with Eric, was put it together and make sure no one touched and then yell at everyone that wanted to look at it. But other than, things went well. Except when they were asked to put things away. THey got some new wii games and they couldn't put the controllers down long enough to clean up, so then they were forced, by James and then the tears came, (and not just from the kids). OH the Christmas spirit, gotta love it. o
