Christmas 2009

Christmas came and went, in a blink of an eye. We went to Temple square and saw the lights, Brittin had gone to the Nutcracker with James during the day and had stayed up all night waiting for her date and then woke up early to go to work with James that by the time we made it to Temple square she was in one of her moods and there was no getting out of it. So that is what is happening in the picture, documentation for Brittin's husband, we want to make sure we warn him.:) ON Christmas day We had a great time, it was just the putting away which wasn't such a great time. I didn't know where to put all the new stuff or should I say the new toys, we didn't get anything just the kids. The kids got everything they wanted, with a few exceptions, Brittin asked santa for an American girl doll and she ended up with 2 small american girl dolls, because santa saw her acting bad a couple of times and she couldn't get the exact thing she wanted. Kolbryn just kept opening presents and not even looked at what he got, when we packed up to leave, I had each kids things in a box and he said, I didn't get this and I said yes you did I saw you open it, so he had Christmas twice in one day. The only thing he remembered that he got was autobots and he said he hated it them. Logan just had a sad look on his face the whole morning until he opened his starwar legos and then that is all he did the rest of the morning with Eric, was put it together and make sure no one touched and then yell at everyone that wanted to look at it. But other than, things went well. Except when they were asked to put things away. THey got some new wii games and they couldn't put the controllers down long enough to clean up, so then they were forced, by James and then the tears came, (and not just from the kids). OH the Christmas spirit, gotta love it. o
