Nana invited us to the children museum, we had a great time.Brittin went to her first REAl soccer game later that night with her soccer team. She keep talking about all the drunk people she saw. I asked her was there even a game going on, she said yes because one of the drunk people yelled at them and said if they didn't play better they would have to come and sit up in the bleacher with them, and he was even holding a beer in his hand mom, so I know he was drunk. Then we had to walk by a big group of drunk people to go to the bathroom. I didn't hear anything about the soccer playing , like they kick the ball hard and far, all I got was what other people were doing.

Last day of school

Kolbryn had a history fair on the last day of school so all week we were staying up and visiting family and friends who were off track I would look through his back pack when I got them to bed and find an assignment due the next day about family history.Kolbryn learned a lot about his name sake and many other family members. THe fairies had arrived earlier in the week. This was Kolbryn's class waiting out side in the hall as each kid got to enter into the class room by themselves to see what the fairies had brought. This is logan showing what grade he is in know. He said he rules the school now. Logan had a field trip on Wed. He went to camp floyd. This was were the army camped when getting ready to fight the mormons. It was also a stop on the pony express. This is Logan being a pony express rider. Their teacher told them they were going to ride horses.

4th of july

We went to a Redd party which was really nice and pretty. Getting to see everyone and check up on what everyone is up to. Then we went the golf club's fire works, keelee got there early and saved us some seats. Thanks keelee. The traffic was crazy but it was fun being apart of the big group and enjoying things together. The kids were really excited to see the fire works, They were screaming and laughing and saying how pretty everything was. No big fights, just smiles and laughs. We got home around 11:30. The kids were begging not to go to church early in the morning and wanted to go to keelee's church at 11. But everyone was awake and ready to go on time.

3rd grade play

Brittin's class has been practicing a play for the last month of school, It was about having a good character, honest, trustworthy, Etc. It was really enjoyable to watch. She really had a good time practicing it, she was back stage manager and had to have all the props in order and in the right spots. She was also under study for many people but didn't have to step in for anyone. Nana and a lot of her cousins came to watch her. Brittin also earned an ice cream party in her class. At the beginning of the year the teacher told them they get to earn toppings for every math fact they learn, so it was fun to see their hard work rewarded. Brecken got some too.

3 v3

Brittin got invited to play in a 3v3 soccer tournament. It was so fun to play and watch. James just got home from the River trip that night and her first game was at 8:30 across town. They did a really great job. Her team worked together and in 4 games brittin scored 9 goals. We were sad to see them lose the last game.

Finally there was a hot day. We filled up water balloons and went to copperton park and after we popped those, which was 1 second and it took me 20 min. to fill them, we played a while then headed over to a splash pad, then over to Day Break to ride scooters and play in the rope park. IT was fun to remember what summer is like. We did all of this after school on Friday.

Kolbryn finally got principal's pride. He has been waiting all year for this. All he had to do was have nice hand writing. Which I can not do. His whole class came and cheered him on, that has never happened before. Nana came to support him. We were so excited to see him get it. James has planet strawberries and this year the weather was so weird that hardly any of them grew. Here are the couple we did get to enjoy. We meaning Brecken.

Back to school we go, with a wawa here and a bah bah there

We had to come home from fun grammy's to school work. Kolbryn had his plant science fair project due. Then they each earned Soaring eagle award. Logan was the only kid in his class to earn it. And there was only one other in the other 5th grade class, way to go Logan. Everyone in Kolbryn's class earned it and a majority in Brittin's class earned it. But it is a lot of extra work that each child has to do plus school work to get this award. Nana and Papa helped me out with coming because I was helping with the event. Next we had Kolbryn's last soccer game and he got his trophy . Then we had piano recitals for Logan and Brittin. THey both did wonderful on their songs. We went out to eat with Nana, Papa, Eric, Levi, Katie, and our family for fathers day. We had a great time being together. The next day Logan, Levi, Steve, Eric, James,Heather, Joseph, and Marty all left on a river trip. MOnday Brecken had is last day of Speech class party. They got to bring treats to share and then play out side on the playground, which they had never done before.

We went to grand Jct. for memorial day to visit grammy and the graves. The weather was nice, just a little windy. Our bishop and his family were coming to G.J. too for a family party and grammy let them stay in her bunk house. One morning I came out side, the kids already up and out playing and I heard them saying" my dad can push higher than your dad". "No way my dad can". They were talking about the tire swing, but that was so funny to hear. then we went over to one of the houses Grammy is renting and they had an irrigation ditch where we learned how to water the fields using just some metal pipes and gravity. We fed some horses and a love a fair happened between logan and frogs. He caught one in the ditch and Brittin ran the other way, so he chased her with it and she screamed. He played with the frog for quite a while and I asked if he would like to get one for his birthday. You should have seen his eyes, yes he said and asked over and over if I was for real. I wished I hadn't said anything because that was all he talked about. Feeding the horses was fun too. Then we had to come home, back to the real world.
