New bunny

Here she is the one and only BUNNY. Carmel. She is the same color as Brittin's hair and is sweet and smart. Brittin loves watching her eat, drink and poop. She kept her up all night running around. THe boys love her too. We haven't had to clean the cage yet. So things might change. We are trying to get it Litter box trained. But we don't know how. Brittin loves feeding her and playing with her. This is a dwarf Netherland bunny it should only get to be 2 lbs but it does have sharp claws. We have the bunny in her room. Hopefully I will be able to handle this animal. I have kept 2 frogs for 6 months and a crab a live for 4 years, so now we are moving on to warm blooded animals. Pray the same thing doesn't happen that happen to the cats.

Christmas day 2010

We were in grand jct for Christmas. There was no snow there so the kids were out side all the time, playing with the dogs, riding bikes, swinging on the tire swing. Kolbryn got his monster truck and lego airplane and a remote control Helicopter which he fights to get away from James. Brecken got to open his birthday presents finally, he was in trouble from his birthday and never got to open them until then, he also got a monster truck and candy, Brittin got her bunny cage and a note telling her where to pick up her bunny, Santa was afraid that the bunny would get car sick on the way home, so we had to get it on our way home, Brittin got some zhu zhu pet things so she could have something to play with until her bunny got to her, she also got her BYU soccer ball she has been waiting for since spring, Logan got his D C shoes and his lego cade bane that he had to have. He got an Ipod from grammy and has not put it down, There are no songs on it but he has run out the batteries 3 times in 3 days just playing games. He said he didn't know he wanted it but he was glad he got it. We went bowling with a cop, which was free bowling they had at the bowling alley, we went 2 times once on Christmas eve and the other time on Monday and had a good time. Grammy taught the kids how it feels to be in a straight jacket and Logan is trying it out on Kolbryn. Logan got interviewed for the news but he must had ended up on the cutting room floor, I think this was the only time my kids have ever watched the news, just waiting to see if they were on. My niece had her ponytail in a shot and my nephew had the back of his head in one too, but that was it. Brittin said that was a rip off. We had to leave Grand Jct early because everyone was talking so rudely and Brittin was happy about that so she could get her Bunny. Now we are home and we switch Logan into Brecken's room and Brecken in with Kolbryn. My gosh that was hard but with team work we got a lot done. I still don't know what I am going to do with all this new Christmas stuff. It was sad getting Brecken out of his room, that my baby is old enough to share means I am soo old. Logan is just ex tactic that he can have his own space, when we moved into the house he was so scared to be by himself and now he is jumping for joy with his privacy. TImes are a changing, way too fast.

time worp

The 2 younger boys really wanted their heads shave, so james finally did it, but first we got some predictions of what these boys are going to look like in the 50s. I still don't like their hair, James bicked Kolbryn's and just shaved Breckens. When we go visiting family and friends everyone wants to touch their heads. Kolbryn got called Mega mind and Brecken is Caillou.

setting up Christmas

This year putting up the tree was a challenge. Every day we were going to set it up, the children would get in trouble and I would say we are not setting it up today. After a week of this I say only Brecken and I would set it up, but Brittin and Kolbryn earned it back. Logan was almost there but had a preteen melt down and was not allowed to touch the tree. he did set up christmas stuff around the house. Sorry to say I put the lights on and then said decorate the tree, then I plugged in the lights, they didn't work, so I had them take the trimmings off and then I put other lights on, then those didn't work and finally I got I strand on their and the kids didn't want to decorate the tree any more. So All we had was 7 orniments and no star on the tree this year. But we need make snowmen, snowcaves and put up lights out side. So I guess that counts as something. They tried making snowman one day and the snow was too hard, but the next time they tried it took them 5 min. to make huge snowmen. Their snowcaves were made with a team effort from the neighbors with tunnels and everything, it was so nice to have them out of the house and playing. But in the morning they shrunk and they decided to destroy them. But it is only the begin of winter so I guess we will have many chances to make better ones.

Halloween 2010

Brecken had a speech Halloween trick or treat and went as Bat spider. No one else dressed up so he was the hit of the class. I couldn't talk him out of it. I wanted them to be the Wizard of Oz but he had different ideas every day. But he did let me take on picture with his costume on with Kolby but no one else. Logan was suppost to be the scarecrow but it turned into the zombie scarecrow. It was raining and we had to go to a church party so the kids were ready to go trick and treating and didn't want pictures. THere was a haunted house in the neighborhood that the kids just had to go to. THey were so excited we went the night before Halloween and they had just closed and the kids were sad. We had keelee's kids and grammy with us and we pile out of the car and like clowns coming out and brittin screaming I'm not going you can't make me, she was too scared. Then they tell us it is closed and come back tomorrow. So we go to the ward Halloween party and they just can't wait to go to the spook alley. They have talk non stop for a month about how fun it was going to be. The whole time at the church party they talk about, then we drive up there and wait for keelee's fam to show up. So we trick or treat up there and finally we get in line and Logan doesn't want to go and wont move out of the line. So for sure Brittin isn't going and I grab Koly and Breck and we walk through with Brecken screaming and Kolby rubbing his makeup all over me. At the end we have to crawl through this tunnel on our hands and knees well, I have 3 umbrellas 2 kids and some cousins holding on to me. Brecken sees the back door of the house and wants to go out that way and not the tunnel but I pull him through with the umbrellas, camera and I don't know where the rest of the kids went and we get out and Logan says he would like to go in now that we made it. So this time Brecken stays out and Kolby, Brittin, Logan go with me. This time Logan is pushing me to go first and says he is just going to close his eyes the whole time. Brittin is pulling me to go back out, but I got her and I'm taking her in. I got rid of the umbrellas with brecken. So I can have a good hold on her. We start going again and they start saying this is dumb I'm not afraid then something jumps out at us. We go through it and and Logan wants to go back in. I said I'm done and they go back in again and again. We go trick or treating somemore and then back over to Keelee's to play but we have to go to bed early because we have early church. James is home passing out candy to the trick or treaters.HE always misses the fun. This year our Pumpkins were characters from cereal boxes. Logan and Kolbryn's were the wolf from cookie crisp and Brittin was the rabbit from Trix and Brecken was Franken berry

Brecken did have a birthday

I forgot to wish Brecken a happy birthday, it has already been a month. SOrry big guy. My baby is 4 going on 9. He can do anything and he does. He learned to ride a bike at three. Can eat anyone under the table. Can lie right to your face with out smiling. WHat else could a mother ask for. But really I can't believe how lucky we are we have him in our lives, he is such a champ with all the following me to all my meetings and behaving most of the time. For his birthday he wanted this nerf gun that is as big as him. SO I had him call grandma because I wasn't going to buy it for him, and you can see what she said. I thought there was no way he could hold and shoot this thing but Brecken being Brecken did and does shoot it. THe bullets broke with in a day of having it but dad supper glued it back

Gardner village 2010

What can I say the pictures speak for themselves my kids had a great time :) THis is a trend with my family, smiling in pictures is so beneath us. Why should we look at our pictures and think that was such a great time, my family believes in remembering and documenting how it truly was HORRIBLE. I'm really kid'n we had a great time except in these pictures, but I'm not kidd'n in the theme of my family, look as ugly as you can and then you can always say I don't really look like that.
